Sunday SunDAE

Sunday SunDAE -- This was our Sunday Breakfast


Four quick and EZ recipes layered in bliss:

Bottom layer: Chocolate Crunch Bliss:
(makes a lot)

1 cup cacao powder
2 cups soaked oat groats (soaked in fresh OJ instead of water)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup Grade B Maple Syrup
1/2 cup local honey
2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whiz the oats in a food processor with the s-blade until a smoother texture is desired - not mush! Stir in remaining ingredients. It will be thick. Fill the bottom of a fancy schmancy glass.

Endless possibilities for this yummy recipe -- use as a pie crust or shape & dehydrate for cookies.

Next layer: Cashew Cream:
1 cup raw cashew -- soaked for four or more hours
3/4 cups water
6 Tbs local honey
juice of one small orange
scraped seeds from 1 vanilla bean

Next Layer: Marinated Berries
Coat berries with agave until shiny wet not soggy

Topping: Candied Oat Groats
2 cups soaked oat groats
2 tablespoons Grade B maple syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
dash sea salt - optional

Stir gently until all ingredients are evenly coated

Garnish with mint sprig
